Across four carefully chosen dates this Easter, techno titans Adam Beyer and Joseph Capriati will be pairing up for their first official B2B tour between Thursday 17 – Sunday 20 April, 2014.
It begun at one of Berghain’s legendary Sunday sessions in November 2011, when Adam Beyer and Joseph Capriati teamed up for an impromptu back2back session at the annual Drumcode Total event.
Since this auspicious beginning, the two have planned occasional B2B sets at specially chosen club gigs and festivals around the world, including a main-stage closing set at Awakenings Festival this summer and marathon sets at Golden Gate and Metropolis in Capriati’s hometown of Naples in addition to crowd-pleasing impromptu performances at Awakenings NYE 2013, BPM Festival and Row 14’s infamous Sonar after parties.
Anyone who has witnessed Adam and Joseph play B2B will testify to the unique synergy that naturally flows between the Drumcode label head Beyer and red-hot rising star Capriati, with both sharing a strong musical connection and also a close friendship.
Now the two are teaming up for their first four-date mini tour, playing Solar Easter in Sofia at the Inter Expo Centre, Awakenings at Amsterdam’s cauldron-like Gashouder, Paris hotspot Zig Zag with its 1200 person capacity, and the place where it all begun, Berghain, this Easter. Each venue has been chosen to evoke a distinct warehouse vibe and provide the perfect backdrop for the pair’s extended sets to build musically through the range of their styles into a crescendo of big room techno.
