AFFKT confirms that his second long-awaited solo album entitled ‘Son of A Thousand Sounds’ is finally coming out by the end of this year. It is time now to discover the third advanced EP. Following ‘The Show’ and ‘Someone in the Sky’ (alongside Sutja Gutierrez) he’s coming up with another couple of unreleased rocking and vivid singles: ‘San Diego’ and ‘Oxi’.
First track in appearing is from Sincopat’s head honcho entitled ‘San Diego’. The A-bomb of the EP and possibly of the whole album. Killer electronic music elements and stunning synths are presented in a powerful and unpredictable way. You will notice it is highly influenced by The Chemical Brothers. On the other hand the remix by Kruse & Nuernberg creates a sweet re-interpretation, keeping the soul but getting another winner´s point of view.
‘Oxi’ is the deepest side of the pack. It offers a brilliant and luminous trip along exquisite fields of synths. AFFKT hallmark masterful melodies take you through this special path, full of amazing rhythms. Remix duties were counted on the eclectic and American producer Dave Pezzner, who is introducing a delicate and organic piece of electronica. He keeps the heart and soul of the original mix and adds new and astonishing layers of synths that will blow your head out.
