This October, Defected Records returns to AIR, Amsterdam with an exceptional line-up of DJs and live acts as part of the Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE).

Defected’s ADE Showcase has become the stuff of legend. Renowned for the quality of their line-ups, the parties always sell out well in advance, and are widely regarded as one of the hottest tickets in town. The 2014 will surely prove to be no exception with an array of ferociously talented acts flying the flag for real house music in the Dutch capital.

Room 1 is Defected In The House, with Hercules & Love Affair bringing their full-blooded live show to ADE following the release of their acclaimed album, The Feast Of The Broken Heart, earlier this year. Support comes from Oliver $ – whose ‘Pushing On’ can lay claim to be one of Ibiza’s defining anthems this season – alongside Noir, Franky Rizardo and Sam Divine, all of whom have had career-defining years behind the decks.

Defected sister label DFTD hosts Room 2 with four prolific and highly respected underground acts. Sonny Fodera, Cristoph and krankbrother have all previously released Eps on DFTD, while Flashmob front the upcoming DFTD VLM02 mix album, released 09 November. Further acts for both rooms will be announced in the coming weeks.

The Defected Records Showcase is part of the ADE Festival, a week-long event featuring 300 parties and 2,000 in 80 clubs and venues. The program features the biggest artists on the planet alongside fresh, upcoming talent and everything in between.

Every year the ADE Festival attracts 300,000 festival visitors from around the globe and is truly the biggest international club festival covering the whole spectrum of electronic sub-genres.
