Alberto Santizzo is a DJ and producer whose music captures your soul and moves your body. His music is an authentic mix of electronic dance music and classic vintage sounds. Santizzo’s sets tell beautiful journeys that thread through a cluster of emotions; they have an intoxicating flow that inter-weave a variety of genres including, Deep House, Nu Disco, Tech House and so on.

Hailing from Guatemala his career in music started at the ripe age of 19 playing memorable gigs across Central America. In 2007 Santizzo began to produce and as his love for music intensified he quickly progressed as an artist.

In March 2008 he was enlisted in the essential mix of Matthew Dear for BCC London’s Radio One, featuring the track Goom (Santizzo & Makka). In June of the same year his well received, Dano Ep, was released on vinyl for Italian record label Jayco Records, with mixes by Andre Crom, Toby Dreher and Saccobros. 2008 saw Santizzo produce and release tracks for a collection of international labels from Germany, Brazil, Italy and Mexico; while at the same time taking charge of engineering and A&R at Supernova Records’s sub-label, Supernovablue. He was soon recognized as one of Latin America’s outstanding, budding talents.

In 2009, Santizzo released another 12” entitled, Golosina, alongside his partner Flavio Lodetti and continued to fill dance-floors from Berlin to Barcelona on his first European tour.

In 2010, Santizzo was invited to join the Unfound Sound Records family and released the 001 for Nonpop Records. He was also included in a, Best Of 2010, compilation for Progrezzo Records. In that same year, Santizzo was remixing for, German label, Lebensfreude Records and, UK based, Erase Records. In 2011, Santizzo toured Mexico making a name for himself across Latin America as a piece of homegrown, Latino talent to celebrate. He also released, Come Into My Flat, on the VA entitled, Spare Transition, for Tip Tap Records with artists including Medu, Alexis Cabrera, Javier Moreno, Bicoma, presenting the finest vanguard electronic music.

In 2012, with TipTap Records, Santizzo released Don’t Hide for their compilation, Musiness, along with his next EP, Safra, remixed by Someone Else. For Dutch label Trick Track Records, he released In Zoo Boogie for the compilation, As Heard At ADE, with Mickey Franco. Santizzo played at many well renowned clubs during the summer of 2012, including Playa del Carmen’s, La Santanera and Miami’s, La Covacha. In August he played as part of, The Swithcers, (Alberto Santizzo & Mickey Franco) at Sunjam Music Festival that has been running for 10 years in Utila, Honduras. After his North American gigs he filled dance-floors in Ibiza’s finest club, Sankeys and brought the crowd alive at Cream Couture & Electronique’s Ibiza showcase in Ocean Beach. To top off 2012, December saw Santizzo lift the roof in Stuttgart’s infamous Rocker33.

His first record of 2013, Want You, Need You, was released in February with Trick Track Records and has been greatly received.

His much-anticipated EP, I Was There, featuring Mickey Franco and Yamil Bandi, is to be released in March, kick starting his own record label.

2013 is set to be a big year for Santizzo with the launch of his label, Vicey Loops which is based out of Miami. Vicey Loops is focused on producing a fresh spin on electronic music and reworking timeless sounds. The label aims to promote quality music from a range of international artists
