Jazzuelle is the South African electronic music artist, born in 14 February 1989 in Cape Town, South Africa, now living in Johannesburg, where he started the inde- pendent record label Cityscope Recordings briefly in 2010 has come a long way from humble beginnings to being welcomed by the revered Red Bull Music Acad- emy to opening the first ever Sonar Festival In Africa (a taste of sonar jhb) hosted in Johannesburg in 2014.
Following numerous stints in Cape Town, several features, singles and a self re- leased EP on his own Cityscope Recordings, Jazzuelle’s already got multiple re- leases under his belt on renowned labels such as Get Physical, Lazy Days Record- ings, Foliage Records, Atjazz Record Company, Phat Elephant Recordings, Do It Now Recordings, to name a few. Jazzuelle has been gaining constant support from the likes of Tuccillo, Osunlade, Fred Everything, Charles Webster, Phil Asher, At- jazz, Lars Berhenroth, Vinny Da Vinci just to name a few. Jazzuelle was also picked up by the esteemed Red Bull Studios In 2013 which con- sequently led him to play a part in the renowned Red Bull Music Academy (Bass Camp) which was held in Johannesburg’s Alex Theatre boasting 30 of the most talented, forward-thinking artists in South Africa like Okmalumkoolkat, Fever Trails, Card On Spokes, Eve Rakow, Hlasko & more, following this, Thando’s headlined and appeared on events such as Sonar Festival (A Taste Of Sonar), RBMA Nights, Red Bull Studio Live Shows, Griet festival, Junta Movement Events, House Knights Events.
