After conquering the world in the blink of an eye, Diynamic, the Hamburg based label with its signature underground sound, hosted their very first own festival in Amsterdam in the spring of 2013. After a day filled with warm, groovy sounds and a wonderful crowd it became clear this had to be done again.
This time around Diynamic is setting up camp in the beautiful Amsterdam Forest in the Dutch capital on Friday May 30 for a 12 hour festival with label boss and Diynamic head honcho SOLOMUN headlining the bill. His label brothers KOLLEKTIV TURMSTRASSE (live), DAVID AUGUST (live), H.O.S.H, ADRIATIQUE, STIMMING (live), NTFO, KARMON, DJ PHONO and THYLADOMID are joining him.
Quality electronic music
Since day one, Diynamic was founded with a focus on real and honest music. In this time and age it’s hard to put a label on electronic music. Reason enough for the imprint to not waste one minute on labelling, but putting all their energy into quality music. If it has an underground vibe to it and it works for the DJs, they just go with it, regardless if the critics label it techno, house or any other style. Diynamic was built on just one principal: quality music. Period.
Diynamic’s huge success
Separate to Amsterdam, the Diynamic Showcases and other label events across the globe have been a huge success. The Diynamic events quickly became renowned in the summer of 2012, all while Solomun was winning one award after another including ‘DJ of the year’ (Mixmag, UK) and ‘Producer of the year’ (DJ Awards, Ibiza and Groove Magazine). As if it couldn’t get any better, Diynamic was named ‘Label of the year’ by Groove Magazine. Last summer Solomun found himself at the top of the mountain. Next to the Diynamic events he introduced ‘Solomun+1’ to Ibiza super club Pacha. It was a night where the label boss invited artists like Âme and Tensnake to play long back-to-back sets and was an undeniable success.
