Just over a month has passed since the Ibiza season kicked off and Love The Underground Records has already asserted itself upon the island, as one of this year’s must attend parties. Headed up by the amiable Mikaela, the credible event brand come label has had a busy couple of weeks having travelled across Europe, last weekend partaking in an epic Barcelona-Ibiza double header marathon weekender and not letting the tempo drop returned to Ibiza this weekend, for another intimate edition of the Love The Underground Records residency at Tox.

With Sonar festival acting as a focal point for the industry it was no surprise that Love The Underground Records would descend upon the vibrant city for this year’s edition, but not before Mikaela tore up Ibiza with her weekly residency at Tox. The 350 capacity intimate surroundings have proved to be the ideal environment for the new event to find its feet, forming a Love The Underground Records sense of family packed with good vibes and only the best underground sounds. Once more Mikaela brought with her yet more mind-blowing artists to represent the growing family as Popof and Paranoid London LIVE all took a step into the intimate and vibrant environment produced when Tox and Love The Underground Records combine. Upon finishing her set, label leader Mikaela hopped on a plane set to take control of UNDER Club as the OFF Week was in full flow. Joining label head Mikaela was a stunning lineup of LilithArtslavesEllie PetterssonBecTania Vulcano and the one and only Nicole Moudaber, all of which delivering and coming together for a true Love The Underground Records experience.

This Saturday saw Belgium based Ramon Tapia assume a position beneath the Love The Underground Records umbrella. With his sound swaying between techno and house and recent releases across SuaraMy Favourite FreaksAgile and Incorrect it inevitably proved to be another exhilarating night of underground music. Joining Ramon in the booth was Cadenza Music’s suave French purveyor Cesar Merveille, who complimented an eclectic evening of pulsating music, not forgetting Love The Underground Records curator Mikaela, and Samu Rodriguez, a DJ brought through the Love The Underground Records ranks, who both stamped their unique playing styles on proceedings.

Over the course of the season the label will welcome numerous influential figures in the electronic music scene, bringing in Sasha CarassiGerman BriganteButchJon RundellStefano Noferini plus many more special guests to be announced at a later date. So far the brand and label has demonstrated its worth on the island with a promising start to the season and packed with the line up to follow it sure looks to be an exciting time to be part of Love The Underground Records movement. With a palpable sense of expectation already building around the 4th instalment of Love The Underground Records Presents Mikaela and friends this coming Saturday, where legendary Belgium techno don Marco Bailey takes to the booth, it’s fair to say that the brand is making an early claim for best new-comer to the island this season.
