Radio Slave producer and Rekids label boss Matt Edwards has launched a new website bringing together his various ventures and passions for music, clothing, art and pop culture.

Love Hangover (www.lovehangover.com) will function as an online store for Edwards’ record labels and the Electric Uniform clothing brand he launched in 2014, as well as an editorial site featuring content from Edwards and various contributors from within music & culture.  To celebrate the website launch, Francois K has contributed the first in an accompanying podcast series of love-themed DJ mixes, available via the Love Hangover website & Mixcloud account from December 1st.

In addition to Edwards’s own brands, Love Hangover will also merchandise from Running Back and Record Loft available upon launch, with further labels & brands to be added in the near future.

I’ve been a huge fan of popular culture from my early teens and since starting Rekids I’ve always wanted my own store, so the Love Hangover is the perfect virtual space to bring together all the projects and things we love from Electric Uniform, Rekids and The Double R.

It’s also gonna be a space for new artists, new brands and some vintage gear, from records to clothing selected by good friends and diggers from around the globe.

The website’s December 1st official launch day also sees the opening of a separate Berlin-based pop-up store to be launched by Edwards in partnership with artist manager David Dorell and Berlin designer Leo Lüpertz. Antichristmas will run through December 2015 at Brunnenstraße 165, 10119 Berlin, selling unique and exclusive art, books, clothes, music and objects – including pieces by Misha Hollenbach, Toshio Nakanishi, Mundi Vondi and Tom Esam; clothing from Steinrohner, Lovis and Electric Uniform; jewellery by Vk Lillie; books from Broken Dimanche Press and AJL Gallery, as well as the store’s own range of specially-commissioned works. The launch party will take place at 18:00 on December 1st.
