The irrepressible German tech house powerhouse that is the Piemont duo are back once again on their own label with another expertly produced two tracker that will keep dancefloors dancing for hours. A fine remix from Tripmastaz helps also helps complete the package.

The title track goes first and finds the dup going deep down into a groove house sound. A funky, hidden little bassline drives the thing along as simple yet effective percussive chatter wrestles for your attention with a spoken word vocal. It’s subtle yet booty shaking stuff.

The remix comes from Andrew “Tripmastaz” Guyvoronsky – a much in-demand producer whose tough and jacking house sound has found favour with legends like DJ Sneak and Shlomi Aber, both of which have released many EPs on their Magnetic and Be As One imprints respectively. His version is much more jacking and ravey, with clipped kicks and sharp percussive ticks spitting out a kinetic, bristling groove.

Finally, Haunted Place is a taught workout with tight bassline stabs and tumbling drum fills. The jostling interaction between all the elements brings plenty of energy to the track and some nicely musical melodies make sure the thing stays inviting and heartfelt all the way through. There really is no stopping this dup and their network of fine labels, as this EP proves once more.
