Release Date: 15.04.2013

The BAUNS platform returns with a release that has a Neapolitan tone. Raffaele Rizzi, the young and talented producer who has already made the headlines for the works on Alchemy, Loose Records, MKT and Playmobil, is the main artist of this issue with three fine tracks. The package includes a remix by Hollen, already known for his productions on Trapez Ltd, Suara and many others. A solid project, worth of deepening.
“Prometheus” starts with a mix of embedded percussions and long environmental effects. The first break, a two-tone percussive synth creates an interesting mood that explodes in an engaging groove. Of course a special Techno track.
Hollen reinterprets the track “Prometheus” with a nice remix made by a particular bass line and synth sounds in the background that create interesting atmospheres, in line with his particular style. The break recalls the percussion synth of the Original, and when the kick starts you can’t stop dancing. A thin line between Tech House and Techno.
“Talking Clock” begins with a filtered groove and reverberated vocal effects. It soon evolves with a broken percussion which will be the main rhythm of the track. Industrial sounds and a male voice reduced to a rhythmic “tick tick” lead us to the break, where a synth sound like an alarm opens up the restart of the groove. This is innovative Tech House!
The last track of the ep is “Vintage”, where Raffaele shows us his ability and skills as producer. In this track are recognizable Neapolitan influences as well as different musical cultures, as you feel during the break, where a two-tone dry synth seems to lead to Vintage Techno sounds. Gorgeous!
The Neapolitan label BAUNS gives its followers another demonstration of carving out a place in the Top Italian and International Labels. Another eclectic release to collect.
