Roberto has been making major waves in the Techno scene recently, with a series of releases and remixes on some of the most respected labels in the game. Recent appearances at Fabric alongside Chris Liebing, James Ruskin and Surgeon have also propelled Roberto into the forefront, demonstrating he can keep up with the best of them. His latest release see’s him return to his native Artform with the impressive ‘Stepping Stone EP’. The release includes two straight up original dance floor tracks which features Roberto’s dubby Detroit in your face signature sound, that never fails to disappoint. The release also features remixes by Rod (Benny Rodrigues) and Greg Gow. Rod brings his ever present Klockworks vibe to the release which takes you on a hypnotic journey, where subtlety is the name of the game. Whilst Greg Gow injects his unmistakeable Detroit soul, which has made him a key figure on Derrick May’s Transmat imprint in recent times. With early support from the likes of Ben Klock, Marcel Dettmann, Ben Sims, DVS1 Norman Nodge, Shifted etc. this Ep promises to be Roberto’s most impressive release to date. Originally set up in 1997 by Jamie Anderson, Artform has racked up 15 year’s worth of Detroit and Chicago influenced Techno and House championed by the likes of Richie Hawtin, Sven Vath, DJ Sneak, Derrick May, Kevin Saunderson, Dave Angel and Laurent Garnier. The label released the first records of Jesse Rose and Jamie Anderson along with music and remixes by other world renowned artists. Together with Jamie Anderson, Artform is respected for playing an integral role in pioneering the worldwide Tech-House phenomena.
