The festival of festivals… Sonar is just around the corner, and so the time is right for us to pull out all the stops by harvesting some opportune musical gems that we’ve been holding on to. 

This ‘Golden Harvest Sampler’ presents eight varieties of sound, each with a distinct offering for the pallet, but all sharing an essential strain that is none other than House Music. 

The first half of the release is opened up byEkkohaus, with his track “Do It Right”portraying the deep dance floor ready sounds that he is so well known for. Next is the seductive and energising “Liberda” fromSantos Resiak, with is sounds leaving you in a dreamlike reverie, while also capturing the essence of creativity within music production. Meanwhile Gari Romalisdelights us with his track “Realm State”, showcasing the sounds of his native Detroit and creating a piece that is truly at treat to listen too. Finally comes “Wildfire”, a track full of hedonistic freshness and rolling house sounds by the production tandem of NicsonSkinnybone Love

As we move into the second half of the harvest, we a welcomed by E.M.M.E’s track‘People Get High”, its deep rhythmic pulses creating an atmosphere which absorbs and surrounds us. Next comes “I Am’ from Japanese one to watch Mituo Shiomi, a vibrant and captivating track which draws heavily on influences of batucada. Finally towards the end of the release we are hit bySPLEEN UNDERGROUND MUSIC’senergetic “Universal” before capping things off with a juicy tribute to soulful garage fromBendejo.
