The experienced and skilled dj/producer Daniel Stefanik returns (after 13 years) with a solo EP on Ornaments titled ‘Echoes’, a three tracker that shows off the artist’s devotion for dub techno oriented sounds. The title track opens the tracklist smoothly, a 1 minute length ambient intro gently warms up to a creamy instrumental, which fits perfectly with the complexity of the surrounding pads. The song evolves and raises slowly, without compromising the beauty and the ambiance created during the playback. On the flip the B1 ‘A Time To Rebuild’ seems to be infected with dancefloor oriented vibes, providing since the beginning a catchy vibe reinforced by the audacious main chord. Follows ‘Destination Detroit’ that closes the EP with a broken beat rhythm that detaches from the four to the floor inspired themes proposed in the other two productions.
