After a few appearances on Dance Artifakts with three cool remixes, the Lost People project finally debuts with the first release titled ‘Forgotten EP’, featuring two originals and two remixes by Between Ourselves and SX2.
Between Ourselves is a duo known for their releases on Engrave LTD, No Way Records, Moodmusic and of course Dance Artifakts, they propose a dark sound that ranges from deep house to tech house, with reminiscences to some EP published ten years ago. Their remix of ‘Bygone’ avoid the alienating main melody of the original, but concentrates its potential in the instrumental itself, focusing on the structural elements, like the surrounding pads which are interesting and laid.
