Nowadays we can still found great records put out in the market on both vinyl and digital formats: that’s the case of the label Public Possession which presents three outstanding remixes of Bell Towers’ ‘Want You (Need You)’, an indie production that arouses a mellow and sad feeling.
The original mix features many sounds that can be re-use, edited and revitalized, that’s the way Deep Dean, Wolfram and Tornado Wallace made their remixes, in their reworks no one lost the vibe of the original.
On the A side we can found the Deep Dean’s remix, who opts for a disco house theme, that’s really dreamy and the synths have been used in a excellent manner. On the flip the remixes go mental and hotter. Wolfram (known for his appearances on DFA Records) makes the B1, choosing a genuine oldschool house interptation, that is built with a less is more approach, finally Tornado Wallace closes the EP with a sonorous experimentation, he does a nice match with all the instruments and original stems, adding complexity and diversity in the song writing.
