Gobsmacked Records is set to release a brand new vinyl, it comes from the minds of the label manager Diarmaid O Meara and Oliver Kucera, both experienced dj and producers of the techno realm. The five tracks of ‘Shadowmen EP’ follow up the sound research done by the label, a style that aims to the dancefloor with a dark and harsh attitude. The tracks pressed in the A-side represent the futuristic vision of Gobsmacked: ‘Monolapse’ runs around a broken beat rhythm and ‘Monolypse’ goes totally industrial with a functional instrument setup. On the flip the productions are warmer, there the title track and ‘Bunker’ recall to the typical Gobsmacked and Mr. O Meara productions, while the gabber inspired ‘Ma Chines’ offers an alternative contamination put into this EP.
