Rove Ranger gets into a speedy techno mayhem with his ‘Milennial Millenium EP’, a bunch of four tracks that offer a quite bizzarre but attractive mentalism. ‘CS80’ reveals a hypnotic instrumental: the large reverbed main melody and the short vocal sample seem endless, while the title track closes the A side with another solid drum pattern perfectly melt into the surrounding pad sound. On the B side there are pressed the other two songs, which basically recall to classic styles such as acid (‘Horses On Acid’ is a nice tool) and warehouse techno (‘La Manana’ bangs all over its 6 minutes duration).
