Italian techno heavyweight Mauro Picotto breaks again the dance music scene with the release of a brand new album titled ‘From The 80’s Til Now’.
This composition represents his long time behind the decks, celebrating the passion and dedication which efforted his electronic music journey. While listening it’s noticeable a various set of samples, motifs, vocals and oldschool styles revisited in a contemporary way: the overall flavor is nostalgic but fresh and crisp. The album allows also some space for mystical and dreamy sonorities; ‘Groovefeel’ shares a warm instrumental and a vocal cut from ‘Another Day In Paradise’ (Phil Collins), while ‘Fly High To Paradise’ made in collaboration with Molella and Khaino recalls to the huge classic ‘Komodo’. ‘From The 80’s Til Now’. is closed with a dj mix which features a set of seven intriguing and late night inspired techno makings.
