Paco Osuna drops a new tech house EP on his record label Mindshake, which he has made in collaboration with Melanie Ribbe.

Well-respected as one of Spain’s most accomplished electronic music artists, Paco Osuna’s career spans over more than two decades and includes music on influential record labels ranging from Defected to Drumcode.

In constant demand as a headline DJ, Paco Osuna has travelled the world and his productions translate his innate knowledge of what works on the dance floor into top-selling tracks and remixes.

Melanie Ribbe is an exciting talent from Germany that has been dazzling dance floors across the world with her music on labels such as Moon Harbour, Saved Records and Little Helpers. She is well known in places like Amnesia Ibiza where she held a two-year residency at with her own party called “Melanie Ribbe & Friends”.

She has also played B2B DJ sets with Paco Osuna at places like Hï Ibiza, and their mutual love and respect for each other’s music has led to them collaborating on this stunning three-track EP.

“The Key” opens the release with its pulsating acid bassline, infectious hip hop inspired vocals and fast-paced percussion that gives the track an upbeat energy. “Dance Tonight” is a stripped back cut with trippy atmosphere and soulful vocal phrases layered with shuffling percussion rhythms. “Shake Control” has jackin’ percussion, dramatic vocal phrases and a funky bassline sequenced into a techy groove.

Talking about the release, Melanie Ribbe said: “Paco and I have been working together for a long time and it was time to do a proper collaboration together, which we did. We wanted to create a different and unique EP. This EP has been tested in Ibiza last season and worldwide and it’s been proven to rock the dancefloor. We are happy now to share it with the world.”
