Ecilo seems unstoppable and full of energy: after the great release ‘Tribe Substance EP’ released in October on Planet Rhythm, he’ll get released again (on vinyl format too) on Matterwave Records. The four tracker ‘Sky Witness’ elevates a tension between organic and synthetic sounds, arousing a sensibility which recalls an aged debate: is it better to produce music ‘out of the box’ or ‘in the box’? The solution is somewhere in between, maybe it helps focussing on just the final result instead of the creative process behind it. As expected, in each production there are featured solid and dancefloor inspired vibes, with a dub techno mark and a contemporary warehouse infected flow.
