Rossi. launches his label HOMEGROWN. with his highly anticipated four-track EP ‘Welcome’, delivering a quartet of cuts showcasing his trademark sound to its fullest.

If you’re looking for an emerging artist pushing the UK underground house and minimal landscape, it’s safe to say Rossi. is at the top of that list. Tipped by DJ Mag early doors as ‘One To Watch’, the London-based favourite broke through already armed with an abundance of fans following material on FUSE, No Art and Eastenderz while steadily crafting his concept HOMEGROWN. A platform where music meets culture, HOMEGROWN.’s emergence as a mix series curated by Rossi. coupled with its limited fashion drops has seen the brand become an integral source and outlet of creativity for the UK talent. An artist who doesn’t follow trends, he now unveils a natural extension with his own label under the same name, returning with his first release in eight months to deliver four originals that have helped shape the foundations of his signature sound for the imprint’s debut EP, ‘Welcome’.

Opening cut ‘DJ Lover’ pairs signature basslines with hooky vocals and punchy drums, while ‘Touch Of Love’ keeps things moving into the peak-time as playful electronics meet breaks-tinged drums and zipping leads. Next, ‘Find Your Way’ brings rich organ stabs to the mix alongside snaking grooves and sweeping pads, before closing via the late-night sonics and alluring female vocals of ‘Memories Of Late’.

The HOMEGROWN. project will also have a unique placement within the digital sphere with Rossi. featuring as 1/100 artists selected to launch Limewire’s new NFT project – further highlighting the surging talent’s path to venture into the unconventional and push creative boundaries.

“HOMEGROWN. – sounds influenced by a product of their environment.”
