Massimo Logli is back on his record label Superba with a thundering three-track techno EP.

Based in the city of Carmignano, Massimo Logli is an Italian artist whose new release blends acid synths with thundering percussion to create peak time grooves with powerful energy.

Superba is a regular outlet for Massimo Logli’s music, but his music has also been released by other respected techno record labels such as Frankyeffe’s Riot Recordings, Sisko Electrofanatik’s Gain and Hollen’s Prospect Records.

The EP’s title track “Kang” opens the release with its thrashing hi-hats and rumbling bassline, while the swelling acid lead synth leads the track into the tranquillity of the breakdown. Signified by delicate piano chords and shimmering pads, the breakdown subsides when the kick drum slams back in, and the track lifts up a gear.

Second on the release, “Biham”, is signified by a hammering kick drum and frantic acid line that gives the track a menacing vibe. The devastating force of the percussion builds to the fluttering euphoria of a tantalising breakdown, before the track plunges back into darkness when the drums regain control.

“Anser” brings the release to a close with its pounding kick drum and rippling pads. Unfolding with building suspense, the track combines eloquent synths with the industrial textures of fast-paced percussion. This is a masterful track with epic atmosphere that’s perfect for setting the dance floor alight.
