This summer, Ibiza’s most celebrated residency is ushering in a new era. Expect the unexpected and prepare to be awe-struck as Planet Paradise 2022 welcomes you into The Age of Love, where past, present and future dimensions play out simultaneously for the first time ever at the world renowned Amnesia. For 16 Wednesdays, Paradise expands its universe from June 22nd until October 5th, you are invited deep into a surrealist world hosted by Jamie Jones. With standout guests including Âme (Live), Archie Hamilton, The Blessed Madonna, DJ Holographic, Hot Since 82, Nicole Moudaber, Enzo Siragusa, Loco Dice, Sonja Moonear, Joseph Capriati, Apollonia, Ida Engberg, Seth Troxler, Luciano, Cinthie, La Fleur, Chris Stussy, Marco Faraone, Patrick Topping, Ilario Alicante and many more including new residents for 2022, plenty of much anticipated debuts and B2B’s plus mind bending closing terrace sets from the islands favourite selector Jamie Jones. It will be the most adventurous residency on the island.

Forget what you know and prepare to be welcomed into the whole new world that is The Age of Love. Each week, all of Amnesia will be adorned with abstract shapes and towering statues scattered around the terrace and garden. Bringing back the original Ibiza Balearic vibe of Amnesia, a special musical experience where anything goes and people come from all different places with vibrant dancers and colourful performers in fantastical costumes created by the esteemed avant garde designer Kate Tabor. Her work will bring a sense of the unreal that will make each party an unforgettable movie-like experience.
“Amnesia is one of the few places left that truly feels like it couldn’t be anywhere else in the world other than Ibiza. I can also say that as a DJ I’ve only been inspired enough to take my music on a new trajectory three times in my life.” Jamie Jones explains. “Two of those experiences have been on the Amnesia terrace as the sun comes up. Nothing compares to that floor when it’s alive and I couldn’t be more excited to bring all my energy, passion and the Paradise love to the temple of amnesia this summer.”
The main room will be transformed into The Music Box each week, Ibiza’s newest secret club, complete with its own look, feel and brand-new sound system . The decor will be stripped back to match the rolling minimal sounds, while outside you are invited to discover the hidden Pharaoh’s Garden – a new chill out space with music from the famous Paradise Airstream which will now be accessible to all with its own carefully curated soundtrack to offer something different from the other rooms in the club. What’s more, wherever you are in the world, you will be able to get a taste of the magic with a new weekly Paradise radio show on Rinse FM, every Saturday for two hours from 10pm, with special live recordings from the club.
Injecting the musical freshness each week will be new residents Manda Moor and East End Dubs. Danish/Filipino producer and DJ Manda Moor is based in Paris and mixes up house and techno with authentic Chicago energy. She runs the MOOD EDITS label with Sirus Hood and has had her tunes played by heavyweights like Jamie Jones and Loco Dice. East End Dubs is one of the original players from the East London minimal groove scene. His unique sound both in the studio in the booth have a hardcore following, making him one of the most exciting DJs coming out of the UK right now.
Other red hot newcomers include Benin-born DJ AMÉMÉ, one of the most exciting new talents in the Afro house world and no stranger to grand stages like Coachella, Yulia Nikko, who mixes up sultry house with cutting edge grooves, a favourite of Berlin’s Watergate club, Amsterdam based Toman who releases on labels like we_r house and No Art label, Rossi. minimal house talent who was Forms resident at fabric London and Fleur Shore whose sets and productions ooze infectious basslines and captivating vocals. They are all vital parts of the line-up who bring plenty of freshness.
Amongst many standout parties there will be an epic 10 Years of Hot Creations takeover of The Music Box as part of the leading label’s anniversary tour plus Joseph Capriati all night long and look out for a few select early openings in the garden.
The rest of the season is stacked with bold bookings, returning favourites, exclusive back to back sets such as Jamie Jones b2b Seth Troxler, Jamie Jones b2b Joseph Capriati and Hot Since 82 b2b Enzo Siragusa, much anticipated debuts and fresh break through talents from the vanguard of house and techno.
