X CLUB.’s ‘Sitting Ducks’ distinguishes itself as music release because its style is genuinely contemporaneous, anyway at the same time it’s respectful to the past and elevates the importance of oldschool styles, such as hardgroove and tribal techno. Since the beginning of the playback the first theme “Hold On (Chop’D n Screw’D Mix)” shows an overwhelming attitude, which is also kept in the other two productions, representing the scenery of an unstoppable and alienating daily life.
