That’s a big year for the notorious club and record label called Watergate, because it celebrates the 20 years anniversary with a dedicated compilation and a set of dedicated events. The Watergate project is still placed where it was born, namely in the riverside of Sprea (Berlin, Kreuzberg district), which still offers an amazing clubbing experience and a nice musical heritage of mix series and split releases. ‘Watergate Twenty Years’ compilation will be available on three vinyls and also in digital format, hosting some exclusive tracks not available in the wax edition. The artists who offered their productions have been nicely chosen, and their productions are definitely in line with the particular style followed by the club/label imprint. The listening experience is intense and fulfilling, showing off enthusiastically the past, the present and the future of Watergate.
