Rekids partners up with Hello Demo for a competition offering producers the chance to remix SRVD’s latest hit single, ‘Black On Black’.
The competition marks the launch of the HdRemix Channel for producers.
Following a chance meeting in Panorama Bar two years ago, Matt Edwards (Radio Slave) and Patrick Mason formed SRVD and since then they’ve toured Europe, the USA, Australia and Asia, not to mention released four sizeable records on Edwards’ Berlin-based Rekids imprint.
Their latest highly-anticipated cut, ‘Black On Black’, has garnered support from BBC Radio 1’s Pete Tong, Amelie Lens, Chris Liebing, Charlotte de Witte, Adam Beyer, and many other top tier DJs, whilst also receiving critical praise from Mixmag, Resident Advisor, FAZE Magazine, Magnetic Mag, and more.
Partnering up with Hello Demo, the platform that is changing the way producers send their music, for the launch of their Remix Channel – allowing producers to subscribe and receive remix packages delivered directly into their inbox – SRVD now invites producers to remix ‘Black On Black’.
“It’s a really exciting opportunity to let fans get their hands on this track and it’s actually the first time we’ve shared any of the stems from the SRVD project”, says Matt Edwards.
Judged by Rekids, the winner will be included in the forthcoming remix package later this year. Three runners up will receive their very own Rekids package including vinyl and merchandise.
Running over the course of two weeks, the competition begins on Friday 17th April and concludes on Friday May 1st.
To enter the competition producers simply need to click the below link and subscribe to the channel. They’ll then receive an email with instructions to download the parts, view the countdown clock and also submit their final remix*.
*The system only allows users to submit one track but for as long as the content is open, users can update their track as many times as they need with the Replace Track feature (until the content concludes).
