FUSE build upon Rich NxT’s debut album as they welcome Guti and Rossi. to deliver the first set of LP remixes, with both producers turning in fresh versions of ‘Other Side’ featuring Shyam P.
A project soundtracking over a decade of influences, evolution and growth as an artist, and a body of work marking a significant milestone in his career to date, Rich NxT’s debut album ‘Know The Score’ on home imprint FUSE showcased one of the label’s core residents at his musical best last year, offering up a wide-reaching selection of productions spanning the corners of the house spectrum. Having released the ten-track project to close the label’s rich 2020 schedule, March welcomes the first of two special remix packages set to drop this year, with the iconic London imprint welcoming two close friends in Argentinian favourite Guti and rising-UK talent Rossi. to offer up fresh interpretations of NxT’s track ‘Other Side’ featuring Shyam P this March.
Up first, the always excellent Guti offers up his slick and classy remix, welcoming a signature blend of rolling organic percussion beneath snaking top lines, Shyam P’s infectious and hazy vocals, and groove-fuelled guitar riffs and bass licks played live by close friend and Argentinian musician Leah Martinez, whilst Rossi.’s no-nonsense remix sees the UK hotshot draw for rumbling sub-bass, icy hats and sharp drum licks throughout his driving take on the production.
